AU, the University of Texas at Dallas discuss cooperation within graduate programs

A delegation of AU visited the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) as part of a working visit to the United States of America (USA).

The AU delegation held a meeting with the Vice Provost for Global Engagement, Dean of Graduate Education, Professor of Molecular Biology Juan Gonzalez and Professor and Department Head Robert Glosser.

AU President Bekhzod Djalilov made a presentation about the first private university in Uzbekistan, the conditions created for students and professors at the newly built campus, as well as activities of the university.

During negotiations, the sides considered collaboration between the two universities within graduate programs in such fields as chemistry, physics, material science, etc. One of the topics of the talks was the organization of exchange of students and faculty members.

It should be underlined that AU currently offers 17 undergraduate programs and MBA. Currently, the university is working on launching new graduate programs.

AU President also held meetings with Professor Mihaela Stefan, Head of Chemistry, and students at Chemistry Labs.

Also meetings were held with Ray Baughman, Director of Alan MacDiarmid Nanotech institute, Robert Glosser, head of physics, Ali Aliev, Research professor of nanotech Institute, as well as Anvar Zokhidov, Professor of physics.
