AU receives the status of the reporter in World University Rankings 2023

AU, the first private university in Uzbekistan, made another step toward entering top world universities ranking.

The Times Higher Education published its World University Rankings 2023, which includes 1,799 universities across 104 countries and regions.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings is one reputable ranking of the world universities. The ranking is based on 13 performance indicators that measure an institution’s performance across four areas: teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook.

AU was included as a reporter to The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023. The universities with the reporter status provided data for ranking but yet did not meet the eligibility criteria to receive a rank.

It should be underlined that The Times Higher Education uses data for the last 5-6 years during developing the ranking. AU was launched in 2019 and there is not enough data time wise to be included to the ranking.

In 2021, AU became the first non-governmental higher education institution in Uzbekistan to be included in THE Impact Ranking. The university was in the 1001+ group in THE Impact Ranking. In 2022, the university retained its place in the ranking.
