Representatives of the AKFA University and Turkey’s TED University held talks to discuss the organization of two new departments at the Uzbek university.
AKFA University and TED University signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of education. As part of the document, AKFA University is opening new departments “Architecture and Design” and “Civil Engineering” in cooperation with a Turkish university.
During an online meeting of representatives of the two universities, issues on the organization of two new departments and the appointment of a dean, who will ensure the quality of education in the new departments, were considered.
The issues of student admission and quotas for the 2021-2022 academic year were also discussed. It is expected that 100 students will be admitted to each department. The issues of recruiting highly qualified professors to the departments of Architecture and Design and Civil Engineering were considered separately. It should be underlined that the Turkish university will assist in this matter.
Another issue discussed between representatives of the two universities was organization of student exchange program.
AKFA University began accepting documents for the 2021-2022 academic year on 1 March 2021. Admission of documents will continue until 20 August. During April and August, the university will conduct 5 entrance exams to all departments.
Currently, at AKFA University there are Medical School, Pharmaceutical School and Dentistry School, Nursing School, Accounting and finance School, Economics School, Architecture and design School, Computer engineering School, Software engineering School and English language School.
