Projects and Grants
UniCEN, Central Asia University Partnerships Program. UniCEN is a platform to increase sustainable collaborations between US and Central Asian higher education institutions. UniCEN builds expertise in the areas of strategic planning, administration, faculty policies and practices, student mobility, curriculum development, and alumni relations to advance the development of mutually beneficial partnerships.
FEP, Faculty Enrichment Program. FEP supports the overarching goal of positioning the U.S. as a committed partner in a new strategic era of engagement with Uzbekistan by strengthening the educational ties and professional networks between the two countries. Recognizing the education system as a central pillar of economic and social progress, American Councils propose an FEP curriculum that will increase faculty exposure to pedagogical strategies and knowledge in their academic discipline. This learning will, in turn, empower teachers to increase classroom efficacy and teaching practices, better preparing university students for high-skill positions in an evolving workforce.
